The Digital Nomad Visa, commonly known as the DNV, is designed for eligible non-EU nationals who want to live in Spain while carrying out qualifying remote work or professional activity.

It is particularly relevant to remote employees, freelancers and self-employed professionals whose work is primarily connected with businesses outside Spain and can be carried out remotely using digital and telecommunications technology.

The route has specific requirements relating to your work or professional relationship, experience or qualifications, financial means, social security and supporting documentation.

Eligible family members can also be included under the Digital Nomad route, subject to the relevant requirements and supporting documentation.

This can include a spouse or qualifying partner, dependent children and, in certain circumstances, dependent relatives in the ascending line.
