What is family member residency?

Spain provides a residence route for certain non-EU relatives who accompany or join an eligible citizen of the European Union, EEA or Switzerland in Spain.

Where the relevant conditions are met, the non-EU family member may apply for a Residence Card of a Family Member of an EU Citizen.

The application can involve proving both the family relationship and the circumstances of the EU citizen in Spain.

Family residence depends on the relationship, nationalities and circumstances involved. A consultation gives the team an opportunity to understand your position before recommending the appropriate next step.

Online consultation

Online consultations are available Monday, Wednesday and Thursday between 2pm and 4pm. This is ideal if you are currently outside Spain or prefer to speak with the team remotely.

In-person consultation

In-person consultations are available at the Into Spain office on Tuesdays and Fridays between 10am and 2pm at La Manga Club, Murcia.
