    Default Bali tienda English Supermarket

When my husband turned sixty, we decided to retire in Spain. Coming from an Indian background, we brought enough Indian spices to last us at least one year. However, as soon as I started to run out, I began to look for a shop where I could purchase more stock. I asked many of my Spanish friends if they knew of any shops, but we were unable to find any.

Upon doing some research, I found that many people were interested in Asian and Indian cooking, and having always had a keen interest in cooking, I decided to open the shop, ‘Bali’…..

Your one stop shop for all your British foods, Indian foods and recipes, Chinese and Oriental foods, in Monserrat, Valencia, Spain.

Amongst our extensive selection of British foods you will find items for Cooking and Baking, daily usage items, 8 freezers of frozen foods and a choice of breads.

We specialise in Indian spices, pickles and sauces.

We also sell International PHONE CARDS which give you 9 hours of talk time to UK and W.Europe for just 10€

Bali awaits you with a friendly service and plenty of advice on how to get the best from your Indian spices with regular recipes on offer.

Welcome to intopain forum good luck as well in your new business and I am sure you will be able to make a great success of your business.

I love my Indian cuisine and regularly visit our local restaurant (not very local, about a half an hours drive! But a blinding chef!) but I am not very handy in the kitchen otherwise I would give it a go cooking one myself!

Keep us updated with how things are going and check back to see how we are doing!

    Kindest regards,

    Richie

Richie, where is the restaurant you mention? I know Bali likes to try these places out! (if not too far anyway)

It is Shalimar Restaurant in San Miguel de Salinas, so it is probably a little too far for you. But if you are ever down this way the restaurant is definitely worth visiting, it is tucked out the way and is in a small village, but because of their good reputation for good curry people always seem to find them.

They did have a restaurant on the Cabo Roig strip but closed it down to concentrate on this restaurant in San Miguel de Salinas.

I reckon - best curry on the Costa Blanca south

Thank you all for your warm welcomes. The restaurant sounds very interesting, I will have to look out for it next time I am on my travels down that way.
I am new to this forum stuff so be gentle with me. I hope I am able to contribute often.
